Our Facilities
"Smartie has come back a different Pony, she has definitely matured! She is very calm and well behaved and it is obvious that she has very much enjoyed her time / work at Educated Equines. I can't recommend you enough. Thanks so much!"

We are fortunate to have the facilities we require to carry out our livery services to the highest standard...
Built in 2002, the main stables were designed by an experienced Horseman and McTimoney chiropractor (Neill Saunders), with the Horses respiratory health and general well-being his priority.
The High ceilings, with light panels and purpose built vents located at the front and sides of each stable, provide excellent natural lighting and most importantly unbeatable air quality. Allowing for comfortable temperatures in all seasons.
Each stable is approximately 12ft x 12ft and is fitted with rubber matting, a mineral lick and a removable rug rack.
We have just over 22 acres of organic pasture, all of which we use for grazing. This is split up into several paddocks of differing sizes.
As every Equine in our care has contrasting requirements, we have designed and erected a number of paddocks with these needs in mind. Including small well-grazed paddocks for Ponies prone to Laminitis, individual turnout and lush nursery paddocks for Mares and their young Foals.
We also have 25 acres of pasture off site on which we graze the juvenile and resting Equines. (Pictured to the right.)
A further 20 acres off site, is used to make our own Hay.
All paddocks offer Horses and Ponies a safe enviroment, shelter from the weather and are well maintained.
Our 40m x 20m woodchip arena was completed in October 2008.
It provides a sound and springy surface for your Horse to work on.
The arena also features a convenient purpose built jump store.

Due to the excellent drainage our land offers, the Showjumping field is usually in use 8 months of the year.
We have a full course of jumps which are re-positioned frequently and the surrounding ground well maintained.

We are currently having a course of XC schooling fences built to include skinnies, brush fences and ditches.
There will be a wide range of options to suit all abilties of both Horse, Pony and rider.
The hacking around Charney Bassett and the surrounding villages is plentiful.
There are many bridleways, open fields, tracks and quiet country lanes to choose from.
For us, being only a 20 minute Horse ride away from Buckland Warren is a real treat.
Livery Clients pictured right enjoying the scenery...
