Leasing is a brilliant way to enjoy a Pony, there is not the large initial investment that is involved when buying a Pony and leasing is much more secure (for everyone!!!) than loaning.

For lease

Leasing works like this...

You pay monthly an agreed sum that covers the cost of the Pony's keep. The pony can either be kept at the owner's yard or at another appropriate yard. The pony can either be ridden and cared for soley by you, or other people can enjoy the experience of leasing a pony with you, in a share type agreement. (This is a brilliant scenario for individuals that do not have as much time or money requiried to lease a pony entirely on their own, as all tasks and expenses are shared.) Every aspect of leasing is totally tailored to the individuals requirements.

Everyone applying for a pony to lease has to have;

Sound financial and personal references, Yard inspection, Experience in owning/loaning or leasing a pony.

Cottrell Magician

(Alfie)

13.2hh 12yo Palomino gelding.

The ideal project Pony for an experienced small adult/teenager.

Alfie's owner rescued him as a Yearling from local sales. He was in a pityful state.

Since the age of 4, Alfie was leased out as a Riding pony, where he passed through a number of hands as children outgrew him.

He was then given a long rest in the field.

We re-broke him in September 2007 and can vouch for his lovely manners and workmanlike temperament.

Although, Alfie does need a competent and patient person to keep him on the right track.

He was succesfully leased out to a teenager in late September, where he was further schooled in dressage, hacked out and lightly showjumped.

Unfortunately, due to the teenager's family circumstances, she could not keep him.

So, if you seek that special, rewarding relationship with a Pony, Alfie may be the one for you!!!

Available for long term lease at £32 per month.
